Dr Andri Papakonstantinou is a senior oncology consultant, post-doctoral researcher and head of the Unit of Breast Cancer, Endocrine tumors and Sarcoma oncology at the Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center, Karolinska University Hospital, and Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden.She holds a MSc in Clinical Trials from London University, International Programmes, and a doctoral degree (PhD) from Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. In 2020, Dr Papakonstantinou was awarded an ESMO Translational Research Fellowship at Vall D´Hebron Institute of Oncology (VHIO), Barcelona, Spain and in 2022 she was awarded a Post-doctoral Grant from the Swedish Society for Medical Research (Svenska Sällskap för Medicinsk Forskning, SSMF). She is adjunct author in the Swedish National Guidelines Committee for Breast Cancer (cardio-oncology chapter), the chair of the National Guidelines Committee for extremities and bone sarcomas and leader of the oncology subgroup of the Scandinavian Sarcoma Group (SSG), an ESMO Leaders Generation Programme 2020 alumni and member of the ESMO Public Policy Committee and the Practising Oncologist Working Group.
