Alexios Matikas is an associate professor of oncology at Karolinska Institute and senior consultant physician at Breast Center, Karolinska Comprehensive Cancer Center in Stockholm, Sweden. His clinical and research interest is in breast cancer. It includes trials on dose dense chemotherapy, registry based epidemiologic studies, and translational research using multi-omics analyses for prognostication and therapy prediction at the neoadjuvant setting.
